Mau y Ricky Perform Debut Album at AHAA Conference
MIAMI, April 4, 2016 - The incredibly talented singer/songwriters Mau y Ricky, (MR) under the label of Sony Music will release a new album and perform live at the AHAA Annual Conference. The live concert is part of AHAA’s 20th Anniversary celebration on Monday, April 18 at 7:00pm at the Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach. It is sponsored by AHAA’s Digital Media Committee. Mau y Ricky are the sons of the highly acclaimed singer Ricardo Montaner and they share their father’s artistic brilliance.
The duo is soon to release their first album titled ARTE, a strong musical proposal created by this duo and produced by Julio Reyes Copello. The album will have strong musical influences of their roots and birthplace, Venezuela. Their first single Voy que quemo will be available on all digital platforms and radio stations later this month and will debut at the AHAA Conference.
Mau, on drums, and Ricky, with his guitar, began their musical career on stage with their father where they played in his band. In addition to their remarkable instrumental talents, Mau y Ricky have become songwriters for many of the top international stars, such as: Thalía in Por lo que reste de vida, Leslie Grace in Aire ft. Maluma, Diego Boneta in Eramos algo and Llamado de Atención, Edita Nazario in Ya no me duele tanto, Yuridia in Mentira, and Brian Cross in Hielo together with Miguel Bosé.
In addition to their music, Mau y Ricky have had the opportunity to be part of two consecutive seasons of the popular TV show "La Voz Colombia,” acting as advisers for the judges Fanny Lu, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Ricardo Montaner and Andres Cepeda.
